The Bergstube on the Uetliberg has a soul because it was created with love and dedication right from the start. Our goal was to create an authentic fondue chalet and not just another pop-up mountain hut. But it is our wonderful staff that bring that authenticity to life.

At the Bergstube, we celebrate simplicity: everyone is welcome here –whether you are here for fondue on the Uetliberg with children in tow, with friends for a tabolata (everything to share), or for an elegant candelight dinner for two.
For us, it’s not just what’s on the plate that counts, but also who’s sitting at the table. A place where stories are shared and memories made.

The Bergstube is no ordinary place –it is a home, a restaurant, and an event and party venue above the city of Zurich. Warm, authentic, and full of charm, which is exactly what makes it the perfect location for Christmas dinners, birthday parties, club and team events, and many other unforgettable moments.
Whether it’s drinks around the fire pit followed by a Christmas party or a cozy fondue with friends or colleagues, a celebration here becomes something special. For larger groups, we are happy to open on request even on our regular days off, Mondays and Tuesdays.
